Hi everyone, I’d just like to share my little story with you guys, I’ll try to keep it short.

My father and I were looking for a nice Miata up here in Montreal but we weren’t able to locate one in the condition we wanted, everything up here is rusted.
Skip forward 2 weeks... I booked a one way flight to California to pick up a really sweet 95 black Miata with a FFS already installed. I met with the owner who is also a board member here. He and his family welcomed me into there house with an amazing amount of kindness and respect. (Phil, if you’re ever in Montreal, look me up). Looking at the car in person was even better than the 40+ pictures I received by email. All I needed was a test drive to seal the deal. Down the driveway and out onto whatever winding road I could find and that’s all it took. I fell in love the first time I stepped on the loud pedal. The supercharger felt and sounded awesome!
I got into the car Friday morning and started my road trip back home. (This is where I leave out some stuff...) 5 days and 3000miles or 4800km later, after passing threw California, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma, Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, back into Ontario Canada then home to Montreal, Quebec, I made it.
What can I say, this is a great kit. It’s powerful and so far very reliable.
Big thumbs up to Tom for this high quality kit.

You came through Arizona and didn't stop? You better have a good excuse. :)

I was at the guitar solo part of Lynard Skynard's Freebird. I passed the exit going about 120mph...

Maybe next time :driving:

Sounds like a trip I am planning for next summer. A 21 day cross country "Quest to the West" from Ohio. I will plan on stopping by at FFS and the "other" Miata vendor in Grand Junction.

I am working on a southern route across KY, AR, OK, TX, NM to AZ, then to Vegas, Utah, Colorado, and back. Plan on driving the "back roads" where ever possible and seeing several national parks. I will be camping and staying with friends whenever possible.

Adam,
I just got back to Arizona from Vancouver, BC. We had a good trip but we were in my wife's BMW since we needed to haul stuff.
