Tom- With the development of an MP62 kit for the 1.6, have you thought about the possibility of any of the parts working with the M45 kits? With my new Westfield SEI fascination, I am thinking of moving my MP62 fund into a Westfield fund, but I wouldn't mind compromising by adding just a few of the enhancements (6-rib, auto tensioner, BTB, etc) to my M45.

I'll take a close look at Dan's when we get to it. I think things 'may' be so different that it won't pay to do it. If the inlet of the 45 was the same as the 62, I would do the BTB in a heartbeat. 6 rib conversions might be the easiest. We are going to check that out thoroughly when we do the MP62 install on Dan's car and remove the 45.

IHMO BTB for the M45 is best to do it yourself.
The throttle adapter block of the M45 is the bypass block too, unlike the MP62 where the bypass is integrated in the supercharger.
If you want Tom to make a new throttle block, he would have to make a new bypass buterfly mechanism too and probably that much work (and more expensive part) is not worth it
The easy way to do it is - just get a Mustang TB (BBK or MAC - whichever you like better) like the one used in the MP62 kits.
Drill 4 holes in your current M45 bypass block, thread them and bolt the throttle body to it (the new holes co-exist with the ones for the Miata OEM TB just fine).
Then grab a dremel and open the bypass block so it matches the BTB outlet and smoothly transforms in the shape of the supercharger inlet.
That's it - quite easy. I had mine running in a day and there is no need for new parts besides the throttle body
For the TPS you'll either buy a TPS adapter from Tom (I used such adapter from BRP for a while), or if you have aftermarket ECU use the Mustang TPS directly (that's what I am currently using - I like the setup better without using a TPS adapter)

Chris,
Sorry but I will not be making a BTB kit for the M45 SC. It would require a new casting and they are expensive.
