Well, I made it to the dyno this morning. I took along the spare ECU that I swapped the crystal in. Here is the dynos. Two runs a couple minutes apart. The blue one is the stock ECU and the red one is the modded ECU with the crystal change. More RPM but same WHP. Would be a good idea for an autocross, perhaps, but it tossed a CEL immediately, didn't want to idle and just worried me. Stock ECU quits at ~6900 RPM and the other one around 7600 RPM. It did pick up 9 MPH. :)

very nice, do you have the a/f plot too? What pulley are you using?

No A/F plot. Sorry.
I'm pretty sure it is the 115mm. Could be a 110 but I'm pretty sure it's the 115. I have a 120 on the shelf but I'm afraid it wont live on AZ91.

Interesting, but not the results I expected. I would love to see the A/F ratios to see why the drop in power on the modded ECU.
What crystal did you use Tom? I'm pretty sure it's the same one I have.
I will try my modded ecu out as soon as I get some suspenders under my Miata. If all looks good, I will try the 120 pulley.

Fuel did richen up. The crystal must effect that somewhat. However, IIRC, it only went from ~12:1 (pre-cat. Well, there is no cat :)) to about 11:1. Might have pulled some timing as well. I just didn't want to spend time on it as it ran/idled crappy off boost so it was NOT going to stay in the car.
I don't need the ECU. If anybody with $150 wants it, let me know.
