I am starting to build a pile of used JRPC controllers. I just wanted to offer them to those with ELFs that are not functioning well. $100 + shipping. First come, first served. Three in house at the moment. More coming as they have been replaced by the PC-Pro.
I sent one off to a gentleman who insisted on paying $200 for it but, before we picked up pistols and took 20 paces, I beat him into submission that $100 was enough. :) Get your name on the list quick.

I have an ELF that was functioning but not to my liking in an '01. I guess they work better on a '99 as far as linearity over the entire RPM range. Not sure how much it is worth. I guess I should advertise it on another forum. Not many takers here probably.

I too have an ELF sitting on my workbench that will only go to one of two final destinations: either back to SOT for refund/replacement or in the trash. You get three guesses and the first two don't count .
The only reason I'm even on the road is because of Tom's generosity in loaning me a JRPC. 'Nuff said.

I was in the same boat. Tom loaned me a JRPC back in August to get my car up and running until the ELF got fixed. If was very generous of him. The ELF never did get fixed so I called Tom in January to buy the JRPC....yes I was the one that wanted to pay $200 for it (I figured I at least owed him back rent on it!), but he wouldn't take it so we settled on $100. :)
I think I may have finally gotten the ELF situation resolved though....I'll know in a couple weeks. Still no thanks to any help from BRP/SOT or whatever they are called these days......help came from a private individual.
Still, I'll be hanging onto my JRPC. I recently purchased a coldside SC car from a guy local to Tom....it too has an ELF so I'll have 2 cars with ELF fuel management. It will be nice to have a back-up.:)
