You are special and get a second welcome in the RHD section. It has been so long since I used this section, I almost forgot about it. You are really special as you get the FIRST RHD kit. I thought about it yesterday as I was rotating the bypass valve on the SC. To make sure I have my bases covered, I'll put a link here to the other thread.

Like the ABS cars here in the states, you will need to cut a piece of the fuel line bracket to ensure it does not hit the bypass valve. When the IM is out and before the SC goe in, it is a piece of cake to cut while still mounted to the fender. I will see if I have a picture of it around and post it a bit later. If you don't have a dremel or similar, it only takes a couple minutes to remove the bracket and cut it with a metal saw and put it back. It's use is so minor after the removal of the old IM that it could almost be removed and tossed.

You guys could get a break on shipping if we sent a 40 foot container full down by boat.
Any of you Aussies remember the yoyo craze we put in motion in '96? We were air freighting down 1/2 ton a day. :)
I welcome any and all questions. I tried to get hooked up on your web board but haven't got my final approval as yet.
Hi Tom,
You have it now :)
I got here from the link at the bbs ;)
Cheers,

Might be wise to setup an admin area, I would not feel right hijacking this thread too much
And maybe a chat area for non car type chatter :)

Hey guys,
I'm doing the install this Friday night Saturday morning - temperatures for the weekend are going to be 40+ degrees c (~100+ degrees F)
All this week I've been rushing to get the aesthetics of my car sorted out - get the a/c fixed, paint hardtop, line hardtop with interior carpet/felt, new springs, new shocks, new bushes, new tyres....after all that! I'll put in the SC.
Wish me luck.
Tom - I don't care what time of the day it is - I'm calling your cell phone to tell you its in and it works!
Anyways, my car should be quite a beast, the dyno reading is the highest of all naturally aspirated miatas with only RB headers and RB intake (the intake will be gone after the FFS kit is in:) )
94.2 kilowatts = 126 horsepower :) Gotta love 98 octane petrol! for extra firepower :gunsmilie:

I'm used to getting phone calls in the middle of the night from down under. My international rep for the yoyo company was out of Sydney. He would roll out of bed in the morning his time and call.
As the others will tell you, my cell phone is never off and never more than 3 feet from me. Text messaging to my cell phone (the number listed) gets my attention real well too if you have a quick question.
PS. That looks pretty cool coming out of the big bix, doesn't it? :) That box was the result of Ari's first coldside that FedEx ran over with their truck.

With this talk about calling all over the world I thought I'd mention SKYPE to you guys in case you weren't familiar with it.
USA to Sydney is 2c a minutes using a headset and your computer.
Rates >> http://www.skype.com/products/skypeout/rates/all_rates.html
Download the program >> http://www.skype.com/download/
I've used it with good success. The service is now owned by EBAY.
Use your credit card and put a credit to your account in your country's currency and away you go. Works very well.
p.s. SKYPE 2 SKYPE calls are free.

You can also use yahoo messenger and have a voice chat for free. My wife uses it regularly to talk with family in south america.
I remember that sinking feeling when I saw the condition of the box my kit was in.

Hi guys,
The install went well...a little longer than 8 hours.
The car works great - I'm still fine tuning the air/fuel ration bit.
I'm currently preparing a giant post on the Australian mx5 forum and will copy the same to this forum.
Currently I'm pulling 175hp at the wheels but I have a pinging issue that I am investigating. Have read up on all the possible causes.
I'm doing a another dyno run tomorrow and when everything is sorted out I'll post my results, install tips for RHD etc. Its marginally different to LHD cars.
At 175hp the car is awesome!
