In order to take up the slack in the Throttle cable, rather than change the size of the pulley (which had some concerns with clearance to the TBA), I bought a nylon spacer and slotted it. I then cut it to the right length and installed it at the top of the gas pedal between the silver end and the rubber part. It snapped on to the Cable pretty tight, but I may put a zip tie around it to make sure it never comes off.

That looks just like what I did. I had a plastic spacer that was perfect diameter, split it lengthwise and slid it over the cable. I also placed another slit plastic tube over it which ensures it will never pop off. A much cleaner solution than a bigger pulley.
Maybe this is something that should be included in the kit?

oe tuner, can you give me the rough dimensions for your spacer? also, the pic is pretty small, can you upload a larger one? thanks. i'm almost done with the install and I will probably hit this problem tomorrow.

You need a piece of plastic about 3/8" diameter with about 1/8" to 1/16" hole through the center. I had some material on hand, but you should be able to get some spacers from the hardware store. They are used to offset something like a peg board that needs to be installed so it is not flush with a surface. Slit the spacer on one side and slide over the cable slack.
You should need no more than 1 inch in length.

I was going to drill another hole in the bracket to move the pulley to a spot within range of the adjustment. There are 2 holes in it as received and they are both about the same distance out of range in opposite directions for my car. I figured a hole exactly between would be about right.
Edit after drilling hole:
OK I was wrong again. That pretty much makes me wrong on almost everything I have said or did in the last several years I think. Just ask my wives, past and present.
The new middle hole is still too far from the throttle twister, lever, whatever it is called. I managed to barely get a thread or two at the tip end of the cable adjuster to get it at the right amount of slack (just perceptible). I will try the spacer, collar to get it midrange in the adjustment.
Dumbass out.
