There is a post on Mnet that talks about cooling options for the coldside kits. I was hoping that the ideas can be posted here: Thus far, one of the ideas is to use the space in the manifold to put cooling tubes to cool the charge before it exits the manifold. Basically put rows of cooling lines with fins that absorb heat form the air in the IM, since the space under the blower is not enough to allow suffucient contact to cool the air as it exits the blower. Placing tubes in the IM would also redce the throttled volume.

The same ideas were talked about on the BRP forum way back when the C/S was was being R&Ded for a inner cooler, someone pointed to the tubes with fins that ford uses.
I guess one way to make a SWAG as to if it would work would be to compare the contact area of one of the old A/W I/C to the surface area of the tubes that could be fitted inside an IM. BBut then again, although these tubes would reduce IM volumn, what restance would there be ?
What would be interesting to see is if the P/C or ELF could handle slightly larger injectors where the increase in total flow equaled what the 5th inj. was adding then use the 5th inj. spot for water inj.

Wayne, there is already a hiole drilled and tapped in the side of the intake manifold for WI. Take a look at the drawing here http://www.fastforwardsuperchargers.com/3d-supercharger.htm and you will see the plug on the side of the IM.

Thank you, finally got that down loaded,
My thinking was that larger Inj. supplying all the fuel needed and a water Inj. for cooling would be better that injecting both gas and water into the IM.
I will be the firs tto admit I don't know Jack about FI, so I'm just throwing out ideas for thoses that do know can correct me.

Cooling, either water or fuel, works best if injected where the air is at it's hottest. After the blower.
