Can you'll give me an Apx. amount of time it took for the install ? With 1700+- miles one way I'm thinking about finding a "tuner type mechanic" here, and between "auther-ritus" and "mad cow"/crs I'm not about to tackle a DIY

When the guys at Mike's Place here in Phoenix did the first one, it took about 2 hours to remove the take off parts and abou 8 hours to put on the new stuff, turn the key and drive. That was with a lot of stops for me to shoot pictures and make notes for the instruction manual. They now do the whole install in 6-8 hours. 6 hours if I don't help, 8 hours if I do help.
Some of the home installers did it in 8 hours. Others took their time an did it in a weekend. I would say 1-2 days at home depending on skill level.

Hey wayne, it's banshee in Houston. So you're going with the coldside after all huh? Though you were going with the S2k? Anyways, if you need install instructions, I still got them. Install is around 10hours for first timer. Not really hard, just time consuming.

They are not up on the site. They will ship with the kit on CD so the pictures can be large and detailed.

Banshee, what's with the "guest" handle, ? I started to go with "lurker 1" Anyway, I figured I need a new "go to work " truck more that I needed an S as a toy.
As to FI, still undesided, only say 3 unmarked "super tropers" yesterday, [thank you V-1] so the "where do I play" question always comes up.
