Does the PC Pro have an o2 clamp ?

with 93 Octane and 8-9 lbs of boost in DFW TX I am concerned about running with out timing control. Does the J&S only retard timing when it detects knock? or can it also be "pro active" vs "reactive" and pull timing under boost? I dont think so.. I dont see a vacumn hose coming from it.

NB does not have the luxury of being able to use a bipes like the NA as a simple way to retard timing under boost. Matter of fact I dont know of any other way except for piggy or stand alone.

Get kind of jealous with you SC guys.. Tom's service and delivery... from what I read is excellent.

I am waiting on my turbo kit and have not decided on electronics yet. Kit is a VD II from FM with intercooler. I know the PC Pro does work well with turbo as I have read the threads... just more curious about if it has 02 clamp capability and then my concern about timing retard.

thanks

If the O2 clamp is for the tip-in pinging/leaness, though the PC Pro does have that ability, it addresses the tip-in issue using a far better method - the TPS.

No timing control in the PC-Pro.

The J&S can be adjusted to pull timing based on boost. The hose connection is on the opposite side of the unit from the controls and wiring.

It's a timing controller: J&S Ultrasafeguard (http://www.jandssafeguard.com/test/)
