E-Cool Injectors

We tested 15 brand new injectors today and only 1 worked and 14 failed. Please drive with extra caution until we can get a new e-cool injector out to you. The defective lots are from January 7th of this year to date. If your kit/injector was shipped prior to January 7th of this year, we believe them to be OK.

I received my injector back in December and it appears to be working correctly . Should I be concerned????

BTW, the injector has the plastic tip with 2 holes in the end and is orange in color where the electrical connector attaches .

I don't think you need to be concerned but, I don't feel comfortable so I will swap it out. Good point about the two holes. Those were the early ACCELS and are probably just fine. I just don't do things half way. The three hole version are the bad ones. The single hole are the Nippon/Bosch version.

Tom, I have a three-hole Accel Injector. It has "2636", "48lb/hr" and "01D116B" stamped on it. It seems to work fine but if you think it prudent to replace, I'll do so. Thanks,

Tom, what size injector do you use for ecool? I am going to load one of your maps into my SS controller and need to adjust for my two injectors in the DTB. I have the vintagate BR set up. I think that my two injectors are 330cc each.

IIRC, they are 470cc.
