The time has come for me to sell my baby....I have owned this car for 7 years and I have done about all I can to it.....This car was the original prototype used for the NA Miata coldside. Tom had a hand in putting all the pieces to this car together. I have bought an open wheel formula car that I plan on running as my race car for some time and as bad as I hate to I am selling ZIGZAG....the original MP62 coldside car....here are some of the details about the car....please note that this car has been my daily driver for years and is NOT a race car only......

1996 AC/PS/PB/cd player, has a harddog double diag roll bar, sparco sprint seat as well as the stock drivers seat, koni shocks, custom H&R springs, strut tower brace, momo wheel, torsen 2 rear, racing beat exhaust and header, racing beat hollow front sway, head ported and polished, uses the only working ELF on the planet I think......runs well....very well. Car has been boosted for over 30K miles and no issues. The car placed 9th fastest overall at the crow mountain hill climb this past year....was fastest street legal car by a long margin. I also have some spares that go along with the buy....spare driveshaft, A control arms, axels, wheels intake, etc, etc....I will not sell the spares seperate unless the new owner does not want them.

Please contact me for tons of pictures or more questions.....

Mark,

Welcome back. We missed you. Yours was the first 94-97, my 99 had the prototype but I think Jim had the first 99-00 production unit and my 05 was the first production unit installed as well as the first 01-05.

Would you have the latest dyno graphs? There is some curiosity as to what the beast made before you sold it.

Hello again Tom and others....

I have sorta been out of the Miata loop (tho I am driving a bone stocker everyday) when it comes to the performance side of these fun cars. I have been dominating the racing series in my open wheel formula car. I won the south east divison autocross series this year with it!

I have looked for any dyno numbers but I can't find any....I do remember geeting at least one from the old BRP folks but I have changed computers at least twice since then and fear I have lost all that info. The car went thru so many changes over the build and upgrades I don't recall. I do remember at one point I was running a smaller crank pulley than stock and was in the 225 range......anything beyond that would be a guess.

I know Jeff and Tyler and really enjoying the car and having a blast with it in south Florida. I may someday get back into another SC Miata but right now it is just too much fun in the open wheel. 0-60 in the 2.5-3.0 second range is just hard to beat!

Mark,

When you told me the car should make 225 with the current setup, without the smaller pulley and the extra injector, did you have a smaller supercharger pulley? and what do you mean the xtra injector? Is that what it dynoed at before the 5th injector and the 120mm crank pulley? Was that after the engine rebuild or before?
