Hi all,

Used to have the Freedom Design strut tower brace but now, with the coldside, the throttle cable bracket is in the way.

I use the early BRP IAC bracket so there's narrow window between the throttle cable bracket and the IAC where the brace can go through.

Any coldside, either positive or negative, experiences with aftermarket braces ?

Thanks !!!

The stock OEM 99 -2000 brace fits well and is a really well made unit.

.........w/ a coldside & freedom design & there aren't any clearance issues w/ the throttle cable or bracket (3/4 "clearance) .where it IS tight is the bottom of the bar & the top of the sc itself (1/8") . btw, i bought my coldside from brp in oct. 2005, so i don't know how that relates to early/ later brp.

Yeah, I do have the updated throttle cable bracket from FFS and the Freedom design does not clear the bracket. Looking at my installation, a brace that would have zero offset (the Freedom design brace sits about a inch and a half back) from shock to shock would be perfect as long as it would also clear the supercharger itself.

Thanks !
