on my 99 I see where I need to take off the VICS Control solenoid.. which has a vacumn line from it to the OEM intake, and then a vacumn line leaving it. Plus a plug which instructions say to unplug and take solenoid off of intake. My question please is where does the solenoid go at this point. I have the SC mounted etc but I have a plug with no where to go and I dont know where to place solenoid.

Today is Easter, and Happy Easter to everyone and did not want to bother Tom today. Any help appreciated and thanks

It is completely removed with the original manifold. The VICS plug remains unused after the install and doesnt cause a CEL. Only the 01+ FFS kis need to keep the additonal solenoid. In fact, Tom includes a relay to eliminate the CEL for the 01+ kits.
...now go drive and have fun!! :)

I called Tom about with this same question about a week ago I think (all the calls and emails over the last 4 weeks seem to blurr together) while installing the coldside on my 99. He said that it is not used and to just tuck the connector out of the way.
