This weekend we finished the install of the PWR radiator, pulleys, larger outlet manifold, and BTB. Upon starting the car, it wouldn't idle at all. I adjusted the course idle about 1/2 to 3/4 turn and it idles perfect.

It sits at a rock solid 900rpm and has yet to dip. When stopping, it idles around 1300 rpm for about 10 seconds and then drops to 900, hopefully this will resolve itself after driving for a couple of weeks. Overall, the car is running great.

I have the e-cool injector in and the wires running into the engine bay, I just haven't hooked up the fuel lines or the pigtail to the injector.

I do have a rattle somewhere in the engine bay I need to find. It sounds like a loose bracket. First thing I checked was the radiator and everything seems fine. This will just be a trial and error process.

Hopefully I will get to the dyno in the next couple of weeks.

Good Luck Steve!

I'll be going to the dyno myself if the snow/sleet/rain ever stops.......

How was your radiator install? I want to upgrade mine.

I assume you have the BRP fans, if so, the holes need to be re-drilled to line up. Really no big deal. Other than that, it fit perfect with no changes, but it is close. I pulled the thermostat housing ( and replaced the thermostat) for additional clearance when mounting it.

Great I think I will order one as soon as I sort out my current ills.

Sounds great. Can't wait to hear how the E-Cool works.

If the idle doesn't settle after a few days, give the idle stop screw a 1/4 turn down. Make sure you get drive time with AC on/off, lights on/off and combinations of those. The ECU needs to learn all of the different loads along with some cold starts and hot starts.

I will do that. I also left out probably the most important part of the upgrades. The PcPro - I truly believe this is what has improved the idle. It idles better with the PcPro and BTB than it did with the ELF and STB.

Does your rattle occur at a certian RPM? I have one between 4500 and 5500 that drives me nuts.

Nope, it can occur at any time, any speed. Never Consistant.

Sounds like a loose nut behind the wheel ..

I had one of those for awhile. I couldn't figure out what direction it was coming from; engine, rear suspension? Finally I took the loose change out of the ashtray/cupholder hole and it went away.
