Driver's door mod

I had my driver side door modified by parking lot pickup truck today. He looked to the right and didn't see anything and turned too sharply backing out. He at least came in and told me and gave me the info. Now it is going to have weird paint mismatches and my numbers will probably fall off at the auto cross. Magnetic numbers probably don't stick to bondo.:frown:

Sorry to hear that. :( Guess that's why the call them acci-dents. At least he stopped to tell you. Won't his insurance pay to make it right?

New door? Maybe you can find one on ebay or another miata parts source. If you're lucky, you might even find it in your color.

I found a door that is green at "Parts Group" in AL. If it is not BRG, it might go in with out painting. The body shop isn't confident.

The guy who hit it is giving me a check "tomorrow" for the estimate price at the body shop. All it will cause me is some time without dry transportation. I just traded my truck in on a used 40' motor home and don't think I want to go to Home Depot in it. However, it will be easier to carry 2x4s in that than the Miata or the Harley.
