OK. I finally bit the bullet and applied for CARB approval for the FFS Hotside. Papers go out tomorrow. we shall see what we shall see.

Key points will be the same as the Coldside:

Magnuson MP62 supercharger with a 65mm diameter pulley, 105mm diameter crankshaft pulley, extra fuel injector, BBK throttle body, open element style air filter and Jackson Racing Power Card Pro. The Jackson Racing Power Card Pro works in addition to the stock ECU to control fueling under boost. The user adjustments on the Jackson Racing Power Card Pro have been disabled by KnackToys, LLC. Maximum boost is 10PSI. Supplied fuel hose is manufactured and labeled to SAE J30R9 standards.

So, there's a 5th injector but only one PC-Pro? The reason I ask is although my setup is technically a BRP kit, it is nearly identical to this, except for my 2nd PC-Pro. Is there any way I can still hop on the CARB exemption (when it happens)?

Oh, and yes, good luck!!!

Pat.

No, like the coldside, there are two PC-Pros. One for the main and one for the 5th.

Not sure I can answer the question right now BUT, it would be my understanding that, if we converted it to my kit, it would be covered. Those items listed are the items to make it my kit. I'll know more when it passes.

Good luck Tom - I have to get smogged again in Aug.

Do you have pictures of the bracketry/mounting hardware?

Well, it will be a bt different than the one for the 1.6L but close. The 1.6L looks like this. The corners are actually rounded as the bracket is a formed piece with the plate welded on the front end but i didn't have time to dress it up.

Yes, good luck with CARB. My BR Performance kit is about the same as BlownMX5's and a whole bunch of other folks. Well, i didn't see an intercooler, which I have. I have your new PCPro in the trunk and will get it plugged in soon. I'm not sure which BTB I have, MAC or BBK.

Luck? Who needs luck when you've got skill involved?

When you get your E.O. we'll have to talk...
