Just for fun now... lets put down some good oll speculation as to the final tune that Tom and ADC get out of her on the dyno. Lets see who gets closest... Ill go out on a limb and say ummmm: 205hp / 170 tq shear speculation. :sweatdrop: No fair using Torko Tom:nono:

OK! No timing pulled; No Torco. :) Im making an assumption here but Im fairly sure Tom's goal is to "install turn key and enjoy"; So thats why I had the new motor set to whatever stock timing is... 12 Deg??? Anyways; there IS a JR boost timing controler in the glove box but I dont know if it was ever hooked back up after the engine swap. :seeya: Better check this Tom. Last I knew, It was set to pull some timing. Just turn the thing off or all the way down to the left. Test Monkey out!

:offtopic: Better yet: If its not gonna be needed, have the guys pull it so I can sell it when I go to sell the JR M45:2gunelf:

I think Magnum-5X is going to be close for the CARB version with 105mm pulley. He's using my favorite 0.8 multiplier for torque. It might even be closer to 180/144. However, that is what bigger pulleys are for. ;) I'll take 180 for the base kit. That's not to shabby for a 1.6L. I think we'll push a safe 200WHP with a larger pulley.

Has anybody got any DynoJet base runs for a 90-93? 90WHP?

I have a 93 with a RB intake and a catback at 102.6 HP and 90 Torque.

A few years ago my 92 did 99.4 hp and 89.9 ft-lb with 14 BDTC, no other mods.

The FM website has a dyno plot of a 90 with K&N filter at 89.9 hp and 83.6 ft-lb.

BTW, I forgot to mention in my previous post that my 92 had a K&N filter.

i think with some good tunning on the base maps 190 or so is quite possible on a turn key kit. 10 psi with this blower should break 200 whp easy esp if the heat is taken care of. :D :tank:

I design them but I don't do much wrenching any more. I leave that to those who get paid to do it. :) They are up to their eyeballs in American Iron and Dan's Miata is waiting it's turn. We are going to do some other things to the 99 for test on Wednesday as well. Stay 'tuned'. ;)
