Has anyone used on of these on the coldside?

Any fitment issues ??

Anyone done temp testing before and after ??

I tried one similar to that from Outlaw Engineering. You will need longer studs. My opinion was that it simply delayed the inevitable. For autocross, where you run 60 seconds and then cool, it would help. For track days, the manifold will heat soak anyhow.

I have one on my 2001. I did not need longer studs but it was right
at the limit. Had it in the garage at the time of install so thought as
long as I was installing, I would use it. I have no idea if it is doing
me any good or not but I pretty sure it's not doing me any harm.

I installed the Hondata gasket. I installed longer Dorman studs for peace of mind because the original ones were about one thread short. Maybe once the gasket is a little compressed, the last thread actually engages, I don't know. I don't have a lot of miles on the car since the install so I can't tell about the seal or it's effectiveness at insulating the IM from the head.

Enjoy !
