View Full Version : Replacement Fuel Injectors - Urgent
OK. I'm at the point in my install to replace the injectors and put the new fuel rail in. Before doing this, I'm inspecting the injectors and see that 2 out of the 4 have small cracks in the plastic right at the tip of the injector. A third has a crack big enough that it wouldn't take much to break off a piece of plastic. So I'm certain they should probably be replaced.
Soooo, anyone have any recommendations for replacement parts? Should I go bigger? Stay stock? Stay stock size, better manufacturer? I am completely open to ideas!

I would talk to tom if injectors he supplied are the culprit he most likely will replace them. If you need to source new ones go ebay and get some supra 310's to give yourself abit more headroom. The stock ecu can handle them no problem. :online2long: GL man

Call Jeff or Joe at Arizona TPI (480-921-2500). They can supply direct replacement 280cc Bosch/Nippon-Denso with all new rubber (worth $14 per injector) for $60 each. That is what I just bought to replace my old ones for the 99. Tell them I sent you.
Just order the new injectors from Jeff! Pleasant enough people to deal with.
Now my question is, will the Power Card need any adjusting with these injectors compared to stock?

It might but it would be minimal. Maybe down one light on the YEL/BLU and RED/BLU on the main PC-Pro. The stock ECU is going to compensate a bit as well with Long Term Fuel Trim and the PC-Pro feeds off of the stock numbers. I believe that even when the stock ECU goes open loop, it adds/subtracts LTFT?
New injectors should show up any day now!
And after getting further into the install, I just now opened the envelope with the new E-Cool injector. I did not realize I was supposed to sending the old one back. Sorry about that. I should be able to get over to UPS this afternoon.

Mark,
No rush. I just want them back to confirm they are out of use.
