Idealized AFR

Ok, so I have Tom's input on a 'safe' A/F ratio under load...

Sooo not to sound too stupid, but what should I be looking for in all other cases, such as idle and partial throttle? The magic 14.7?

I'm sure this is a redundant question to others, but can't find ay other thread...

12-12.5:1 is safe for boost, but you want a transition from it to 14-14.7:1 at cruise and idle. For example, for normally aspirated setups 13:1 is better. So for right around 0psi you could tune to about 13:1 and then progressively lean it out a tad below that.
