Hope I'm not raining on Dave's parade, but since he is probably still in the garage, I thought I would post a progress report. Dave - Feel free to add your thoughts
The hard parts seem to be basically done, the remaining items are easier, but time consuming. This includes mounting IAC and Vacuum block (see other thread), installing vacuum hoses, unwrapping and separating the wiring loom, mounting the autotensioner, and installing the new belts.
I ache all over from spending two days laying under the car messing with the manifold, the 12mm crows foot was the key to completing this.
FWIW we also did several non SC items including replacing the slave cyliner, diff fluid, and tranny fluid. All in all it was a fun weekend.
I am a bit concerned about how the manifold and bypass valve rub against the fuel line, but we will watch this closely. These are the lines you replace for the PC-Pro. The IAC instructions could be a bit better, but having just done this on my car, it was not a big deal.
I know some of you love the remote oil filter, I personally would never put one on my car. I am really concerned about the hoses rubbing, plus the hoses made the install a PIA. My new phrase is "%&@*#@ Thompson".
I must say I'm impressed that we called Tom once on Saturday and Once on Sunday and he was back to us almost immediately.

My fuel lines are close, but I have had no problem with them touching. They can be bent a bit to the side to give a bit more clearance. The engine will rock to that side under acceleration, but it "should" only move about 1/4-1/2 inch.
My biggest concern is the proximity of vacuum lines and other stuff right next to the throttle and bypass mechanism. I was worried about something getting jammed or stuck open. Has not happened, but I am very aware of keeping lines away from that area.
BTW - I have a love/hate relationship with my crow foot!

On the first install on my '02, when the bypass was actuating it was hitting some hoses. I tie-wrapped the hoses out of the way and that took care of it. Definitely check out what's going on when the car is running to see if you're getting rubbed the wrong way (tee hee!)

Just finished the installation on my ABS-equipped '03 yesterday. In my case, I had no choice but to remove both metal brackets and shock mounts for the fuel snubber. I just ziptied the fuel lines to the nearest vertical supports, and it seems to be OK.
I also carefully bent the ABS line away from the throttle assembly, using two hands to try to avoid kinking it. I was unable to get an answer from Tom as to what he recommended doing about the interfering ABS line, as he was on a road trip at the time and couldn't review my emailed photos.
In operation, I think I've seen a couple of instances where the revs have stayed up near 4-5K for a couple of seconds after releasing the gas pedal, but it doesn't seem to be happening now that I've gone back and bent the ABS line a bit farther away from the throttle.
