So am I special? My bypass valves vacuum connection is on the top instead of the bottom like the 3D picture shows..... Where is yours?
Thanks

You and everybody else with ABS are special. ;) the bypass valve is rotated to avoid hitting the ABS.

Thanks Tom.... Just wanted to make sure we mounted the supercharger right side up.... Sod is easier, green side up.... ;-)
Ok, back to the garage... just slip the food and water under the door...

I know you were kidding. :) I just didn't have time to respond.. Just remember, the pulley end of of the blower goes to the front of the engine . ;)

Would this apply to my 95 w/ABS also? My bypass is pointed down and it's a real pain getting the hose on it securely. And I'm worried that under boost, it will easily pop off...

It wont pop off any easier pointed up or down. If you have ABS, I should have rotated your bypass valve before shipping? Is your ABS module close to hitting the bypass valve? Can you send me a picture? That is the one question I always ask when selling a kit. I don't know how it would have gotten past me?
I'll get a picture this afternoon. While it may not pop off easier up/down, I know it would be easier to get it on all the way and secured if pointing up!

Unless there is a down side to rotating the Valve, it seems that for the 94-97's the install would be much better with the hose connection point up.
My hose connection is mashed against the big AC pipe. I had to slightly bend the AC pipe to prevent hard contact. I am still a little concerned for the valve getting damaged when the engine moves.
OK. Here's some links to pictures I took. Unless you know what you're looking for it is really hard to make out what is what as everything in that area is so jam packed. I've got the bypass valve, the ABS box and the hard ABS lines, and a few vacuum lines to boot, while trying to leave room for where the 3" flex pipe is going to snake down.
You can see there ain't a whole lot of room between the bypass and the ABS hardware. It wont take a whole lot of engine movement to make things rub.

Hmm. It should have been rotated 180* for your kit. That is the one question I ask is about ABS. Don't know how I screwed up on yours??? The bypass valve does need to be rotated or the ABS will destroy it. That requires the other version throttle cable bracket as well.
So what will I need to do to rotate it?

Just the ABS version throttle cable bracket. I will send you one.
You will need to remove the center nut on the bypass shaft and the two screws that hold the bracket in place. Also remove the throttle cable bracket. Rotate the bypass 180*, replace the two screws. Be careful to center the bracket on the shaft so it doesn't rub and replace the nut. Install the new throttle cable bracket and that's it.
