New manuals (last missing piece) are now in the hands of CARB. :) Next step should be the "Test Letter", I hope. Then, on to the lab for show and tell.

Did you have to make many changes?

The 99-05 just needed a note in a few places to differentiate between the 99/00 and the 01-05 in those places that had differences. Maybe 4 or 5. The 94-97 was a total re-write. Check the Instruction manuals forum to download them. There are a couple of pictures in the 94-97 manual I would like to update when you do yours. Specifically a picture of the old fuel rail still on the engine after everything else is removed. To show the three bolts that need to be removed. I just used the picture of the new rail mounted for that as it was the picture I had. Tim at CARB was really cool this morning. He told me not to bother to send them via mail, he just downloaded them.

Thanks so much for doing this Tom. Many have downplayed the need for CARB. Many of us in Calif. don't feel real cozy about driving around in an illegal car.

Just remember, If I get a CARB EO#, you will need to buy one of these. :)

I like it! No worries about losing (or someone faking) a sticker that way...
No problem with pictures: I plan to take a bunch during the install (I'll do a write-up about it for my website) and you're welcome to use any of them.
