Just curious for those that have done the install. Liddown is basically complete with his install and we will fire it up this weekend. I believe the only area where we really deviated from the instructions was tightenting the bolt/bracket in the center of the EGR tube bracket.

Obviously it is tight at the EM and IM connection, but given how the tube was moved, there is absolutely no way (IMHO) that the bracket can be tightened at the center using the clamp.

We simply left it off - Did others have the same issue?

Yep, same problem on both installs that I've been through.

I left mine off as well. I now have 12,000 miles since the install with zero problems!

Another "why bother?" install. On my next install I tried not removing that bolt/bracket and it worked out fine. I just mace a slight bend in the tube on the intake side. It was much easier than loosening the EGR @ the header and removing the bracket bolt.
