Hey guys,

Slapped on the belt after running without it for a week or so. My wideband isn't plugged so basically i am running crazy rich. All the settings off the powercard are set at 8 since i heard some ping off my first tests and didnt want to take a chance. The car runs fairly good although vacuum - boost transitions aren't very smooth (expected) because of the amount of fuel going in the cylinders.

I've got a few issues with the idle which is good when you start the car but then when you go from giving it gas to pressing in the clutch, the rpm's either dips down very low in the rpm to then stabalize or the engine stalls.

Could a leaking EGR tube cause that sort of problem? When we took the egr off during the install, the end broke off so we basically had to cut it a bit and flange it manually with a few tools which gave an ok but far from air tight result. Im pretty sure its leaking cause the car sounds like a freight train from the front when im in boost. Sounds like an exhaust leak.

Also do you guys have a trick to adjusting the throttle body because after more than an hour of fideling, i have no way of changing the ajustment, there is just no space and my allen keys cannot get the angle required to ajust the damn thing.

Thanks!

I had trouble adjusting the idle also. I could not get a full 60 degrees of movement with the wrench to get a second bite. I took a couple of extra allen wrenches and cut them off shorter. I took one of them and put it in a vise and put a little twist in it. This allows me to alternate wrenches getting about 40 degrees per turn.

exactly....i could turn it at first but could not get a second turn out of it.

I guess my idle drooping problem and noise problem is due to the EGR tube!
I tightened it slightly and even though its still leaking a tad, there is no droop and the noise has decreased by a good margin. I'm quite happy.

Took the car out this morning with the cold air, stabbed it a few times and boy did it go :D. Hopefully i can sort the little glitches soon.

Im quite happy with the install, it was far longer than i thought but the results are quite good, ill have to post pictures.
