For the driver that is. :D
It's been a consistent 110~115F here for the last couple of weeks and dry heat or not, it's HOT!
I drove to work at 7 AM and back home at 6:30 PM - top down with no AC. I didn't hear a hint of ping, but I think I'll either drive the beater or drive the Miata top UP and the AC blasting.

Maybe you should relocate your water injection nozzle to the cockpit? A nice patio mister might help.

I just ordered the Cool Breeze from BlackCherry04. Now a mister connected to that would be really cool. lol
I landed at Phoenix Airport Wednesday night at 9 PM and the pilot announced it was 106F - YIKES! Still, it was nice to be home.

Hope you like the cool breeze it worked wonders for me... The side mount one might be another option for you, it's touted to flood the driver with air....

I had those on a 1952 Chevy (and on many other cars back in the day). They were called "wing windows". They worked pretty good. But they didn't have AC. That works better.

Ya know, i have often looked at those side windows and wished they were wing windows. that would really add a touch of. . . . . a touch of. . . well i dont know what you would call it. It sure would be slick though.
