View Full Version : Cs M45???
Hey,
I just purchased a 94 with a CS M45 BRP style...
Anyway is the throttle cable so suppose to feel like the act clutch(stiff) I'm a turbo guy, so very new to SC's... I worked on roots blowers in the service along time ago...
I own a 96 and the throttle takes very little effort, this 94 TAKES EFFORT.

Perhaps the previous owner has put an extra spring on there. Some of the autocross groups require that.

Thanks!
I'll check it out. When I turn the throttle by hand it feels very resistant. The PO was a big AutoXer.
I sprayed a bunch of PB blaster on the TB, just to see if it changed, but no luck. (I know big no-no)
I removed the bracket for the throttle cable and adjusted it(added a smaller spacer and bent it) so it now lines up straight with the throttle cam, it was ~20-30 degree angle and I thought that might be the culprit. But it didn't change.

Here's a pic of the system in my car.
I like the way that Tom's kit doesn't have the airfilter on the hotside.
