I am so envious of you! Maybe if you try to take pics of the install, Tom can then use those pics for the proper location of the bolts you speak of once you find them.

I don't remember any issues with prepping the engine for installation. Bottom manifold bolts can be reached from above with sockets and extensions, or from below quite easily. Putting them back in the new manifild is where people have problems...
Do you have the car on ramps or jackstands?
no, i don't have the car on jackstands, i should do that and see if i can reach the bolts....... thank for the input, i gonna try that see if that help.

You have to have the car off the ground. The bottom panel must be removed to access a good portion of the installation. You are fooling yourself if you think you can do without lifting it. I believe this is covered on page 5 of the installation instructions! ;-)
Make sure it is secure and well supported. Cars fall off jacks all to easily. Rhino ramps are ideal, or jack stands otherwise.
In addition, rasing the car up will save your back. I put mine on ramps for any service work, as it is too low to work on comfortably without.

i always have a little bit of fear in back of my head when working underneath a car, don't really trust my life on $5 jack:angelsad2: ...so i avoide lifting car as much as i can, but i guess i would have too....

Get a set of Rhino Ramps and there are no worries. The car is not going to fall off them and you don't need to deal with jacks, stands, etc. The set I have works great even on my lowered car.

Sounds like I'm in about the same place as you on my '95. I took all of the bottom Intake manifold nuts off from underneath the car, alot easier in my opinion since you can see them all. Also it sure would be nice if my manifold came apart in two piecesa like the one in the instructions!! I've been using a haynes manual along with the instructions to help refernece when I get confused. I'd recommend you get one.
I had no problems getting the manifold off of my 95M. And after thinking a little, I got the new manifold on fairly painlessly. Using one of the top stud/nuts as a reference, I ground down a 1/4" socket on the both the front and back sides so that I a) had enough depth on the inside of the socket for the stud to not interfere with the ratchet/extension drive, and b) just enough depth on the drive side for my wobble extension to grab. With that done, both back nuts went on surprisingly easy from up top.
Good luck!
