After a great day of golf I finally got to start installing my new toy. The instructions Tom has written are great. I got as far as installing the new manifold. Good progress for 5hrs w/ a few breaks.

One question, which bolts go where to attach the blower to the manifold? I'm missing one of them, not sure which one though. I have 3-4.5 inch bolts, 1-4" bolt, 2-1", 6-0.75" bolts, and 1 tapered screw.

I know where the long bolts go, but have no idea where the shorter ones go.

Also I only have 2 bolts for the manifold brace. I haven't gotten to connecting it yet, but I think I'm missing the bolts that go to the block.

I think that the hoses Buck cut will be long enough, but wont know until I get around to that part.

Anyway, I'll have be sure snap and post some pics before I get too dirty tomorrow.

The blower is attached to an adapter that mounts on the top plate of the manifold with five small allen-head screws. The two longer screws are the screws at the ends that go into the manifold. Remember to seal those parts with ultrablack when assembling them.

The lower manifold brace is secured to the engine block with the two bolts you removed from the bottom end of the factory intake brace. They are slightly different length. I think the longer one goes in the top hole...

.... and the tapered screw goes on the Manifold top plate at the "pointy" end, just under where the EGR finally rests by the rear of the setup.

ALMOST DONE!

Connected everything up, plugged in the PCPros (easiest part of the install), and am checking everything over. One question, what do i do w/ the wires to the VICS silinoid? I searched the instructions, but it didnt mention anything.

Also is there anything i should double check before i try to start it up?

thanks!
Colin

Cancel that, I should have searched. VICS silinoid is not reused (duh!) and hte plug is not connected to anything.

Back to work!
