Does the PCPro with on a 1990 Miata?
I have heard that they have different fuel injectors that other years and are fired differently. Would it work on them?

Yes, it works just fine. We are using one on Dan's 91 with no problems. Injectors are batch fired. That is what's different from 94+
Thinking of getting another one?

No - two is enough.
I have a friend in the club that has a 1990 with a JR M45 and nothing but drivabilty problems. He has an APEXI (?) fuel controller, a J&S timing box, and is being pressured to buy a Megasquirt as the answers to his problems. He has had it to several "specialists", but the more money he spends the worse it runs.
It runs pig rich at low RPM and lean up top. It bogs severely at 3500rpm.
I suspect the same things that I found. Bad FPR, clogged cat, and maybe vacuum leaks. I will take a look at it next week and see if I can help him tune it.
If the FPR is bad, fuel controller is turned up way to high at low RPMs to compensate for the lack of pressure at high RPM.
He has spent more on his JRSC and upgrades than I spent on my FFS CS. Now he is considering another $1000 to add more electronics.
With the knowledge and patience of Bogey, we installed a PCPro in my 1990 equipped with a JRSC M45. It had been running poorly with lean conditions in the low end only to catch up at 5000 and up. Lean conditions to produce miss fires, dips in acceleration and so on. 2 nice new gauges really helped tell what is happening.
I now have a perfeclty runnning cruiser and a scalded Miata! What a huge difference. The install was so easy (after we dismantled a previous air/fuel unit, APEXi) with the pre-wired harness. That is so worth it's weight.
Thank you, Tom, for being such a freindly sort and interested to help me sift out my problems and, most of all, deliver an accurate solution. You're are the example of customer service other should emulate.

GREAT. I am glad it worked out well for you. You have the only running version. Dan's engine is still apart.
