Hey everyone,

I'm happy to say that my coldside kit is shipping next week,
and I can't wait. Tom said that after the relatively quick
and easy install, I'll have a new passion for destroying
mustang GTs and cobras.

Is a 5.0 faster than the newer GT or Cobra? I always
had the idea that newer mustangs were watered down.

If this isn't so, then it looks like I'll be immature by
teaching some kids a lesson. They pulled up on me
and revved. The driver looked like a pig with a
baseball cap on, and his arm was hanging out of
the window.

I think I'll have some fun with that type of people
when I get the kit installed. I've never raced before
though so who knows. I don't really feel like it.
But with such power under my foot, who knows.

Mine's comming too!! Since this forum has no rules against kill stories (yet) It'll be fun sharing tales. The cars I'm most looking forward to spanking are the 350Zs in my neighborhood...those and the Z4 roadsters. Both seem to have drivers with a bit of an attitude. I just may have a little surprise for them.

LOL, Been there done that! :) The best part is when those guys let off the gas because they realize its hopeless to continue.

Wait until you see the miata videos of our cars spanking full race prepped Mustangs at Bondurant.

Yeah, right. Looks like you're not into road racing much.
A Miata on street tires and in street trim even equipped with this supercharger can't hold a handle to a good setup track Mustang. Yes, if you call a race prepped Mustang a car which has roll cage installed and toned down to be better suited for students, then ok.

But claiming than 190 whp street will be quicker than race prepared Mustang is quite funny. Next thing and we'll see claims about it quicker than the Speed World Challenge touring and grand touring classes ...

Actually the Bondostangs make around 215 HP and weigh more than the Miata. So it is an almost fair test...

Actually, Im not into road racing that much and I could see how that statement may sound ridiculous. The Bondurant 'Stangs are full race prepped, but I can understand if the state of tune may be geared towards students.

So Tom, did the units begin shipping on Monday as planned? My fingers are itching to get some grease on them. :)

I missed the Monday and today UPS truck but the reason was worthwhile, I think. First, I was waiting for these plates. They were supposed to be done Friday, then Monday but I DID get them today. The kits are done and ready to ship now. They will be on a UPS truck in their nice new fprm fitted boxes tomorrow.

MMMMM Eye Candy!! Now I will pray that UPS can get it to Socal by Friday so I don't have to wait another week to "turn key and enjoy".

All-in-all, would you say that those two pieces were worth the extra two day wait? :) Remember, if you say "no", your throttle cable bracket is going on my 99 and you get the old version. ;)

No, no ever since we first talked and you described the throttle bracket to me I thought what a good idea it was. And speaking of worth the wait...I've been tip toeing around the FI thing for 3 years until I finally jumped on this bandwagon. A couple of days more to get what I want is a cake walk.

Well it's here!!!! I work at a school and was having it shipped here. It's spring break and the UPS guy just rolled on past thinking we were closed!!! I just happened to see him and took off on foot. I literally chased his truck down  Good thing I quit smoking last year :) . This thing should be up and running by Saturday eve. and I'll give you all my impressions!
