There was one of these at our club event a few months ago. In the right hands it would have dominated everyone!

There is one here in our area, its very quick. I took a ride in it and its acceleration is awesome. Make sure to bring goggles though, the front wheels will toss debris into the interior as well as other cars.

Maybe I should rethink the Westfield project.

I think the Westfield with an FMII will be a sweet (and extremely fast) ride and you even get a roof....sort of :)

I think one of those with a Coldside and a 130mm pulley would be great. My son Hans and I have been looking for a bargain on a Super Seven around here to buy and do. :)

When we were at the open house Bill took me for a ride in the Westie, the car is awesome. I refused to drive it becuase I was afraid I would write a check on the spot and then have to cover it when I got home.

My GF does not drive fast and she took the car for a drive. She said she took a 35mph curve at a nice comfortable speed since it wasn't her car, she said she then looked down at the speedo and was doing 60 mph

Think what you could do if you are pushing the car :drool5: You really need to see how small this car is to appreciate it. I am 5'9" 150 pounds and I fill the car, although much bigger people squeezed in. My old Harley electra glide had more storage in its saddle bags than this car has.

After the open house visit, my mind changes every day as to whether I should leave my '01 as is, build the motor with a stroker kit (300+hp), or sell it and build a Westie.

The Westie would be an awesome car with a small turbo or a FFS coldside.

Given the choice the Atom would be my pick hands down. Every review I've read by journalists and pro drivers alike have said this is an amazing driver's car, and with a choice of different motors you can choose your flavor.

When I have owned really fast motorcycles, the temptation to use them inappropriately led to making dangerous choices. There aren't enough places, unless you live next door to a road race track, to satisfy the desire to use a vehicle like that and it just leads to frustration.

Imagine going with Jessica Alba but never having any privacy to go for a ride. I didn't say that.:hang:

The cost of the Atom vs. the cost of a Westie is a driving factor in the decision. Plus the hands on building of the Westie. I've been looking for a project to get my father involved in now that he's "retired." I have '94 donor ready to go, just need to get rid of the boat and ATV to raise funds.
