View Full Version : New Bumper Sticker...Good Stuff w/PC-Pro
Tom tells me my 1990 is the first 1.6 JRSC running with the PC-Pro car setup. That is a distinguished title and one which calls for future reporting. Right now I have a JR timing controller, no knock and a narrow band guage and a car that runs great. I will take it easy until I get to a good dyno here in town with with a proper wide band connection.
Thanks to FFSC for an excellent card with Plug 'n Play install. It was particularly easy since my friend Bogey did all of the work He knows what he is doing.

:seeya: Its not the first but its most likly the only one "running" right now. I had one on my old set up last January when we were ready to start the 1.6 MP-62 project. http://www.fastforwardsuperchargers.com/forum/showthread.php?t=413 really made a difference!
I had my car dyno'd this weekend and with the help of a friend, Ken, set the card for my JRSC. It is currently set 000666. Peak hp was 131 and the air fuel line is nice and flat between 11 and 12.
Tom, thank you again for your help and input. My only regret is I wish I had known of this card a year ago.

I am experiencing sputtering or flutter when accelerating at 1/2 to 3/4 pedal through second gear, especially third gear. I do not get this action with a full pedal through the gears and under full boost. JRSC is my charger.
I have lowered the settings to be 000644, and it is not as pronounced. It is just a little annoying when the car runs so smoothly at all other rates of acceleration. A slow acceleration rate or a fullly depressed pedal works great, it is just that aggressive in between rate that I get this stumble.
I suppose it is a transition point between settings, but not sure how to check it out. My spark plugs and wires are good.
Thoughts? Tom, Do you have a thought here?

To recap slow accel good, fast accel good, mediocere accel bad. It seems to me like you have abit of a lean tip in issue, I am not thoroughly familiar with the pc pro but if it does not have a tuneable area in the part where this happens i would richen the slow accel a hair and see if the overlap between the slow and fast accel fueling curves cure the problem. At the advice of Tom Van Dan, the current setting are 000043. The acceleration is smooth all the way through and the rich condition has been reduced to much better a/f mix.
Thx for your input.
