I enjoyed yo-yos in my teens. Was not bad with them, could do all the standard tricks printed in the Duncan instructions.

So I'm curious about Tom's yo-yos. Are your designs still available? Where can I get one? Is there a coldside model?

We sold the company to Duncan in 2002. They still make the ProYo 2 and the Turbo Bumble Bee. They did change the plastic from PETG to PolyCarb and, in my humble opinion, lowered it's performance but they are still around. They dumped the Cold Fusion (which made the Guiness Book of World Records and set the World Record for sleep time for a production yoyo at 10 minutes and 18 seconds).

Up in my collection from the museum (about 6,000 different yoyos from the 1890s to present) there must be a real Bee or ProYo 2 if you can't find one elsewhere. WWW.YoYoDave.com (http://www.YoYoDave.com) might have some of the old stuff still? He also has a well authoried YoYo History page here. :) I know the author well. http://www.theyoyomuseum.com/museum_view.php?action=profiles&subaction=yoyo_tom

There is a Coldside YoYo but it is a FAST 201 made by the YoYoFactory (www.YoYoFactory.com (http://www.YoYoFactory.com)). Not my design but one of the first devices I did in 3D CAD. The FAST 201 is available in a lot of places around the world but the Coldside version is only available from me. The yoyo is free but you have to buy a Coldside to get it.
