Is yours just tied to the intake filter? Or did you install it in the hose or drill into the end of the filter? Inquiring minds want to know.

I believe the early kits sold through BRP had it simply tied out of the way. The early kits sold from FFS also had it tied out of the way. August a year ago when we started working with CARB, it got installed in the end of the filter because CARB said it had to be in the intake air stream. So I did it across the board. It makes no difference to the WHP or driveability of the car either way.

I noticed the install manual for 94-97 still makes reference to IAT, but of course the cars don't have the sensor. The signal is only used by the factory ECU, correct? So it's not an unused wire into the PCPro?

PC-Pro doesn't care one way or the other. The harness is just a straight through harness except for the wires the PC-Pro does use. IAT is not one of them.

I thought the 94-95 didn't have one but the 96-97 did?

I was under the impression that on the 94-95, it was part of the MAF? If I remember correctly, I think I had to extend 5 wires to relocate the MAF over to the passenger side. But my memory might not be right.

I don't know about 94-95, my 96 MAF is a 4-wire arrangement. At any rate it didn't become a discrete external sensor until 99, I believe.

Sorry, I meant as a separate piece.
